Been on vacation in Minden Nev, and AOL is out of touch there. There was
a message on packet up there that AO-21 died and they were trying to find
out if there was a way to get it back on line. WA6EWV-1 out of Tahoe was
the bbs I read the post on.
I hope they get it back. I think the post went something like the main
user was done with the sat and they didnt know if they were gonna control
it any more...

Subject: Kenwood TR9000 Info
Hi All:
I am having a little trouble using my TR9000
in CW, don't have any manuals so I thought that I'd
ask here. I have the key connected to the jack
marked key on the back of the TR9000. When I keydown
I hear the sidetone, but dont actually XMIT. If I hold
the PTT on the key, the rig will XMIT. Is there some break
in 'stuff' that I need to setup? Anybody got any ideas?
Thanks es 73

Try the Satellite Experimenters' Handbook. There are lots of good, proven
antennas, plus most everything else you need to know about the Sats.
